The avian leukosis virus (ALV) is a serious threat to sustainable and economically viable commercial poultry management world-wide. Active infections can result in more than 20% flock loss, resulting in significant economic damage. ALV detection and elimination from flocks and breeding programs is complicated by high sequence variability and the presence of endogenous virus copies which show up as false positives in assays.

Arctic warming intensifies thawing of permafrost-affected soils releasing their large organic nitrogen reservoir. This organic nitrogen reaches hydrological systems, is remineralized to reactive inorganic nitrogen, and is transported to the Arctic Ocean via large rivers.

This threatens Arctic peoples' infrastructure, cultural sites, and land-based natural resources. Terrestrial permafrost thaw and ongoing intensification of hydrological cycles also enhance the amount and alter the type of organic carbon (OC) delivered from land to Arctic nearshore environments.

The rectal suppositories with vitamin D3 (1500 IU) were administered every 12 h during 5 days. Condition of the rats was assessed according to disease activity index (DAI), while the content of oxidative modification products of proteins in the homogenate of the mucous membrane was assayed with extraction-spectrophotometric method in the lesion focus of large intestine.

Changes ethological status may potentiate or weaken the changes in the indices of immune status, contribute to the formation of allostatic load at desynchronosis.
The Purpose: To investigate the relationship between changes ethological status and concentration of certain cytokines in peripheral blood in experimental desynchronosis under LED lighting.
