Background: This study aimed to evaluate lower extremity alignment in football players with and without genu varum using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and to investigate the underlying mechanisms and contributing factors to malalignment.
Methods: This prospective case-control study included 36 male football players aged 16-19 years, divided into two groups: 18 with genu varum and 18 controls with normal lower extremity alignment. Full-length lower extremity MRI was used to assess alignment parameters.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine the early surgical and long-term survival outcomes of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) alone and CRS plus perioperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (IPC) in patients with peritoneal metastases (PM).
Material And Methods: CRS alone or CRS plus IPC was performed on 122 patients for various intraabdominal PMs. Patients were divided into two groups as PCI ≤19 and PCI >19 to compare early surgical outcomes.
Background: This retrospective study aimed to analyze avulsion and osteochondral fractures associated with patellar dislocation using 3-dimensional (3D) computed tomography (CT).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients admitted between 2015 and 2023 with acute or recurrent patellar dislocations. A musculoskeletal radiologist and 2 orthopedic surgeons evaluated CT scans of 148 patients (160 knees) to identify and categorize all avulsion and osteochondral fractures.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to introduce and evaluate the Descriptive Ankle Fracture Classification (DAFC) system, a novel alphanumeric method for categorizing ankle fractures and fracture dislocations, and to assess its reliability and prognostic value compared to traditional classification systems (AO/OTA, Weber, and Lauge-Hansen).
Materials And Methods: A retrospective review was conducted on 90 patients who underwent surgical treatment for ankle fractures. Four observers of varying experience levels classified the fractures using the DAFC, AO/OTA, Weber, and Lauge-Hansen classification systems.
Objective: This study utilized three cell lines: normal prostate epithelial RWPE-1, androgen-dependent LNCaP, and androgen-independent PC3. We investigated the inhibitory effects of phenylboronic acid (PBA)'s inhibitory effect on cellular proliferation due to its ability to disrupt microtubule formation in prostate cancer cell lines. Additionally, this study aimed to assess the cytotoxic effects of PBA on prostate cancer cells using twodimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) cell culture models.
