Value of tacrolimus 0.1% in the treatment of vitiligo in the era of targeted therapy.

Background: Vitiligo, a prevalent depigmenting condition, affects both adults and children, significantly impacting their quality of life. The standard treatment approach involves the application of topical corticosteroids in conjunction with narrow-band ultraviolet B (UVB) phototherapy. A novel topical treatment, ruxolitinib (a Janus kinase inhibitor), has recently received approval.

Mortality, functional outcome and health-related quality of life in patients with necrotizing skin- and soft tissue infections in the ICU: Protocol of a multinational prospective cohort study (SKIN-ICU).

Background: Necrotizing soft tissue infections (NSTI) are rare and life-threatening bacterial infections characterized by necrosis of subcutaneous tissue, fascia, or muscle. Few prospective studies have been conducted. The primary objective is to assess the 90-day mortality rate and to identify prognostic factors in patients with NSTI in an international setting.

Erythema multiforme.

Unlabelled: Erythema multiforme is an inflammatory skin and mucosal disease mainly related to infectious agents such as Herpes simplex virus, , though it can also be "idiopathic". The characteristic skin lesions are typical or atypical acral raised target lesions. The oral mucosa can be affected, alone or in combination with other mucosal/cutaneous sites, sometimes causing extreme pain, severely impacting food intake, and warranting hospitalization.
