The relationship between food addiction and emotional eating in individuals at risk for anorexia nervosa.

Objective: The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between anorexia nervosa, food addiction, and emotional eating.

Subjects And Methods: The study was carried out with 395 university students. The Eating Attitude Test (EAT)-26 was used to determine the risk of anorexia nervosa in individuals.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the association between various clinical aspects of schizophrenia and seropositivity against Toxoplasma gondii (Nicolle et Manceaux, 1908). We selected 94 patients with schizophrenia and investigated the seropositivity rate for anti-T. gondii IgG antibodies by ELISA.

Modafinil-Induced Psychosis: A Case Report.

Modafinil is used in the treatment of excessive day time sleepiness associated with several clinical conditions. It can also be used for affective stimulation for working late and/or concentrating for a long time. The reported cases of psychosis associated with modafinil use in the literature, have medical or psychiatric diorders.

The neuropsychological and neurophysiological profile of women with pseudoseizure.

Objective: Our aim in this study was to compare the assessments of neuropsychological tests and the p50 neurophysiological test of patients with seizure diagnosed as conversion disorder and healthy control subjects, and to investigate the neurological status in conversion disorder with pseudoseizure.

Methods: A total of 22 female conversion disorder patients with convulsions diagnosed according to SCID-I/CV and 22 healthy women were included in the assessment. The participants were administered WMS-R, the cancellation test, and the Stroop test as neuropsychological tests and p50 was assessed as a neurophysiological test.
