Objectives: Surgery interventions for thyroid disorders are rare in pediatric population. This study aims to present our institution's 10-year experience regarding the surgical treatment and outcomes of thyroid pathologies in children and review the literature.
Methods: All pediatric patients who underwent thyroid surgery at our institution from April 2013 to October 2023 were retrospectively reviewed.
Background: The aim of the study was to evaluate the etiology, incidence, demographics, and characteristics of maxillofacial fractures treated at a university hospital over a seven-year period.
Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 1,757 patients with maxillofacial fractures who were referred to our department between May 2012 and March 2019. The patients' demographic and clinical characteristics were noted, as well as the fracture type, location, and etiology.
Myositis is a clinical condition with a wide spectrum of clinical presentation. We present the case of 33 years old woman with acute history of pain and swelling of both legs. Investigations confirmed acute bilateral myositis of both calf muscles.

Purpose: Laryngeal dystonia (LD) is a focal dystonia affecting laryngeal musculature with no known etiology or cure. The present study evaluated the sociodemographic and clinical features of patients diagnosed with LD.
Materials And Methods: All patients diagnosed with LD at our University Hospital's Ear, Nose, and Throat Department between January 2017 and July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed.
Background: Extracranial hypoglossal schwannoma is a rare tumor primarily treated with surgical excision. This article aims to highlight the potential for unexpected complications intraoperatively, such as cerebrospinal fluid leakage from skullbase to neck.
