The accurate prediction of secondary structures of proteins (SSPs) is a critical challenge in molecular biology and structural bioinformatics. Despite recent advancements, this task remains complex and demands further exploration. This study presents a novel approach to SSP prediction using atom-centric substructural multilevel neighborhoods of atoms (MNA) descriptors for protein molecular fragments.

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) occupy the first place in the world among all causes of disability and death. Aspirin is an effective antithrombocyte agent, the efficiency and safety of which has been demonstrated by numerous studies. Despite its high effectiveness in treatment of acute myocardial infarction and secondary prophylaxis of CVD both in men and women, the use of aspirin for primary prophylaxis is still questionable.

Time course of ultrastructural changes and RNA production in human brain and myocardial cells during the period between clinical and biological death is studied. Changes in the cytoplasm of brain neurons develop 4 hours after death, and 8 h post mortem the destructive changes in the cytoplasm and nuclei progress. During the period of 4-13 h post mortem the endotheliocyte nuclei are capable of producing RNA.
