The zirconium metal - organic framework MIP-202(Zr), based on L-aspartic acid, was prepared by hydrothermal method and used for study of ruthenium adsorption from aqueous solutions. The obtained material was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), infra red spectroscopy (IR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The batch adsorption experiment was performed for determination of adsorption equilibrium, kinetics and thermodynamics parameters to Ru(III) from aqueous solution on MIP-202(Zr).

While an association of thyroid hormone (TH) status and mood disorders is established, the related brain-based mechanisms and the role of TH in anxiety disorders are unknown. Here we examine the role that TH receptor (TR, a nuclear transcriptional repressor when unbound and a transcriptional activator when bound to TH) may have in mediating the initial formation of fear memories in the amygdala.

Here, we addressed the role of small-conductance Ca-activated potassium (SK) channels in pain-related amygdala plasticity. The facilitatory effects of the intra-CeA application of an SK channel blocker (apamin) on the pain behaviors of control rats were lost in a neuropathic pain model, whereas an SK channel activator (NS309) inhibited pain behaviors in neuropathic rats but not in sham controls, suggesting the loss of the inhibitory behavioral effects of amygdala SK channels.

Purpose: We evaluate various approaches to target volume definition and boost delivery in patients with complete response to neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NST) who were treated by radiotherapy without a surgery.
Materials And Methods: A pathological complete response (pCR) was diagnosed in 21 of 27 patients included in "surgery de-escalation" prospective observation study. Clips were placed in the primary tumor volume (PrTV) before NST and during the vacuum aspiration biopsy.
