Objective: To assess the occurrence of client financial insolvency, experiences of key healthcare stakeholders, and policy gaps on handling the situation during maternity services.
Methods: A qualitative study was conducted in North-Central Nigeria. Participants were key healthcare stakeholders including healthcare workers from private, primary, secondary, and tertiary facilities, healthcare administrators/facility-heads, program managers and policy makers at local and state government levels through In-depth and Key Informant interviews.
Background: Globally, the predominant histopathologic characteristic of childhood nephrotic syndrome has been minimal change nephropathy (MCN). However, some studies from Africa and Nigeria have revealed otherwise. It is imperative that this pattern is re-examined from time to time given changing disease and environmental dynamics from place to place.

Objectives: To describe management and outcomes of aerodigestive FB managed at University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) and proffer preventive measures.
Methods: A 9-year retrospective review of all patients with foreign body in the aerodigestive tract managed between March 2011 and July 2020.
Introduction: Despite the relatively higher neonatal morbidity and mortality in developing countries, there are limited data on the detailed analysis of the burden in Nigeria. With a database of over 14,000 admissions, this study presents a compelling picture of the current trends disaggregated by their gestational age groups. It provides unique opportunities for better-targeted interventions for further reducing newborn mortality in line with SDG 3, Target 3.
