Protocol for Increasing the Sensitivity of MS-Based Protein Detection in Human Chorionic Villi.

An important step in the proteomic analysis of missing proteins is the use of a wide range of tissues, optimal extraction, and the processing of protein material in order to ensure the highest sensitivity in downstream protein detection. This work describes a purification protocol for identifying low-abundance proteins in human chorionic villi using the proposed "1DE-gel concentration" method. This involves the removal of SDS in a short electrophoresis run in a stacking gel without protein separation.

The outcome of Ph-negative acute lymphoblastic leukemia presenting during pregnancy and treated on the Russian prospective multicenter trial RALL-2009.

We report the data on 15 women who presented with Ph-negative acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) between Jan 2009 until Dec 2016 and who were treated on the prospective multicenter RALL-2009 clinical trial. A comparison of their outcome was made with 129 non-pregnant females who entered the study and were treated by the same schedule. 10-years OS for pregnant and non-pregnant women was 58.

[Role of the intensive care in treatment of patients with acute myeloid leukemia].

[Development and practical implementation of organ preservation surgery in case of placenta accreta in patients with a scar on the uterus].

Comparative analysis of methods for preventing/stopping intraoperative hemorrhage during surgical delivery of patients with placenta accreta (temporary balloon-assisted occlusion of common iliac arteries, internal iliac artery ligation; uterine artery embolization - UAE) has shown that internal iliac artery ligation is not effective. UAE and especially balloon-assisted occlusion of common iliac arteries have demonstrated a significantly greater effect due to the temporary 'devascularization' of the uterine corpus. It has been proved that an innovative surgical technique - a lower segment Caesarean section (LSCS) significantly reduces intraoperative blood loss.

[Treatment for acute promyelocytic leukemia during pregnancy].

Aim: To study the experience in managing patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) diagnosed in different periods of pregnancy.

Subjects And Methods: Nine women with APL were treated in 1998-2013. When APL was diagnosed in the first trimester of pregnancy, the latter was terminated (n = 1); when its diagnosis was made in the second trimester, chemotherapy (CT) followed by delivery (D) was performed (n = 3); when it was done in the third trimester, D followed by CT was done in relation to gestational age (n = 2) or these were performed at a later gestational age (n = 1).
