Introduction: Individuals experiencing homelessness have higher rates of chronic disease and face challenges accessing primary care. Virtual health care can reduce health inequity but needs user acceptance. A virtual health hub (VHH) for people experiencing homelessness in Sydney provided virtual GP and psychologist care within a crisis accommodation service.

Understanding health care workers' (HCWs') attitudes and knowledge about the clinical application of psychedelics for patients with serious illness is important in progressing research and identifying factors to consider in potential future implementation of PAT. The aim of this systematic review was to synthesize quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods studies that explored HCWs' attitudes and knowledge about the role of psychedelics in treating psychological distress in patients with serious illness.

It is a common incidental finding in cell-free DNA (cfDNA). We investigated the incidence of CHIP in cfDNA from patients with solid tumours and explored its association with treatment outcomes and adverse events.

Arginine (ARG), an amino acid involved in immunomodulation, aids in regulating T-lymphocyte cell activity and the antitumor response. ARG deficiency in the tumor microenvironment can impair T-cell response while ARG supplementation may promote antitumor immune activity.

Changes in saccadic eye movements are common across neurodegenerative diseases of ageing, including Parkinson's disease. With growing interest in noradrenergic treatment potential for non-motor symptoms in Parkinson's disease, the temporal precision of oculomotor function is advantageous to assess the effects of this modulation.

Here we first review the limited available literature addressing the current landscape of specialist assessment services for dementia and cognitive decline and the preparedness for new amyloid-targeting therapies for Alzheimer's disease across the Western Pacific region. Considering the scarcity of literature, as national representatives of Western Pacific nations we were then guided by the World Health Organization's Global Action Plan on Dementia to provide country-specific reviews. As a whole, we highlight that the existing diverse socioeconomic and cultural landscape across the region poses unique challenges, including varying access to services and marked differences among countries in their preparedness for upcoming amyloid-targeting therapies for Alzheimer's disease.

Preoperative chemoradiotherapy has been considered, but data are limited regarding this treatment as compared with perioperative chemotherapy alone.
Methods: We conducted an international, phase 3 trial in which patients with resectable adenocarcinoma of the stomach or gastroesophageal junction were randomly assigned to receive preoperative chemoradiotherapy plus perioperative chemotherapy or perioperative chemotherapy alone (control).
Informal caregivers of older people face demanding responsibilities that can negatively affect their wellbeing, highlighting the relevance of interventions that address their specific needs. This study aimed to assess the effects of a group music therapy program based on different songwriting approaches applied to informal caregivers of older adults with dependency. A sample of 113 caregivers participated, being assigned either to the intervention ( = 60) or the control group ( = 53).

Method: Clinicians were taught how to encourage consumers to learn more about lifestyle and health; consider their own lifestyle and health using a self-rated health and wellness questionnaire (HAWQ) and helped them decide which out of six health domains (physical, mental and social activity, healthy eating, mental wellbeing and positive thinking) should be improved in small, sustainable steps using a SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timed) goal-setting template.
Three amide-functionalised tacn macrocyclic derivatives (tacn = 1,4,7-triazacyclononane) are reported, two tris-amide derivatives, L1 containing three -CHC(O)NHPh pendant arms, L2 containing three -CHCHC(O)NHPr pendant arms, and one -amide, L3, containing Pr groups on two of the tacn amine functions and a single -CHC(O)NHPh function on the third. The reactions of these new ligands towards [MF(dmso)(OH)] (M = Al, Ga) and towards FeF·3HO in alcoholic solution afford the complexes [MF(L)] (L = L1-L3) in good yields as powdered solids. These complexes are characterised by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy (diamagnetic species only) and mass spectrometry.

Background: Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is a genetic disorder affecting motile cilia. Most cases are inherited recessively, due to variants in >50 genes that result in abnormal or absent motile cilia. This leads to chronic upper and lower airway disease, subfertility, and laterality defects.

Therefore, reflexive and visual journaling can be used as powerful techniques for clinician selfreflection and personal development. These journals are a form of practice wisdom, providing insights into psychological health in palliative care.

However, the dataset in which this was validated lacked colorectal cancers (CRC), and there is limited evidence for immunotherapy benefits in CRC using this threshold.

The rate and prevalence of hallucinations in behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia is well established. The mechanisms for underlying vulnerability however are the least well described in FTD compared with other neuropsychiatric conditions, despite the presence of these features significantly complicating the diagnostic process. As such, this present study aimed to provide a detailed characterization of the neural, cognitive and behavioural profile associated with a predisposition to hallucinatory experiences in behavioural variant frontotemporal dementia.

We sought to assess the association between contact days and patient-reported outcomes and the prognostic ability of contact days.
Methods: We conducted a secondary analysis of CO.
