The inclusion criteria encompassed adults, depression, a recognized depression scale and a whole food or diet intervention. APA PsychINFO, CINAHL, the Cochrance Central Register of Controlled Trails, MEDLINE and Scopus were searched for original research addressing diet as a treatment for depression in adult populations.

Purpose: To investigate the prevalence and predictors of perceived helpfulness of treatment in persons with a history of DSM-IV social anxiety disorder (SAD), using a worldwide population-based sample.

Methods: The World Health Organization World Mental Health Surveys is a coordinated series of community epidemiological surveys of non-institutionalized adults; 27 surveys in 24 countries (16 in high-income; 11 in low/middle-income countries; N = 117,856) included people with a lifetime history of treated SAD.

Results: In respondents with lifetime SAD, approximately one in five ever obtained treatment.

We describe the case of VZV meningitis post BNT162b2 mRNA vaccination in a young immunocompetent patient. A 39-year-old patient with no medical history presented with a vesicular rash, headache, nausea and fever, days after receiving BNT162b2 mRNA vaccination.

IL-36 cytokines imprint a colitogenic phenotype on CD4 T helper cells.

IL-36 cytokines are emerging as potent orchestrators of intestinal inflammation and are being implicated in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). However, the mechanisms through which these cytokines mediate these effects remain to be fully uncovered. Here, we report specifically elevated expression of IL-36α, and not IL-36β or IL-36γ in the serum of newly diagnosed, treatment naïve, paediatric IBD patients and identify T cells as primary cellular mediators of IL-36 responses in the inflamed gut.

Objective: Brief motivational interventions (BMIs) that include personalized drinking feedback delivered in a motivational interviewing (MI) style have demonstrated reductions in drinking across numerous clinical trials with emerging adults (EAs) ages 18-25. However, effect sizes for these BMIs are generally small to moderate and drinking reductions are often not maintained beyond short-term follow-ups. Additionally, EAs may be more interested in approaches that highlight wellness, mood enhancement, or goal pursuit rather than programs focused exclusively on reducing alcohol-related risk.

Fasciola hepatica is a zoonotic parasite that not only economically burdens the agribusiness sector, but also infects up to 1 million people worldwide, with no commercial vaccine yet available. An ideal vaccine would induce protection in the gut, curtailing the extensive tissue damage associated with parasite's migration from the gut to the bile ducts. The design of such a vaccine requires greater knowledge of gut mucosal responses during the early stage of infection.

S148: Long-term patient-reported outcomes of laparoscopic magnetic sphincter augmentation versus Nissen fundoplication: a 5-year follow-up study.

Background: Laparoscopic magnetic sphincter augmentation (MSA) has emerged as an alternative to laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication (LNF) for the management of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). While short-term outcomes of MSA compare favorably to those of LNF, direct comparisons of long-term outcomes are lacking. We hypothesized that the long-term patient-reported outcomes of MSA would be similar to those achieved with LNF.

Development and measurement properties of the AxEL (attitude toward education and advice for low-back-pain) questionnaire.

Introduction: Clinician time and resources may be underutilised if the treatment they offer does not match patient expectations and attitudes. We developed a questionnaire (AxEL-Q) to guide clinicians toward elements of first-line care that are pertinent to their patients with low back pain.

Methods: We used guidance from the COSMIN consortium to develop the questionnaire and evaluated it in a sample of people with low back pain of any duration.
