The aim of this study is to determine the mediating role of moral sensitivity in the effect of nurses' professional values on missed nursing care. A descriptive and correlational study was conducted with 640 nurses working in the inpatient units of a public and a private hospital with the MISSCARE Survey-Turkish, the Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire, and the Revised Nursing Professional Values Scale. Data analyses were performed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences 26.

The challenging working conditions for nurses often result in increased strain and anger. Social intelligence could help to manage anger.

However, it is now primarily used in the treatment of relapsing types of multiple sclerosis (MS). Understanding how medications interact with dsDNA is crucial for developing more effective and efficient medications.

His-tags enable protein purification by specifically and efficiently coordinating bivalent metal ions present in the purification resins, such as Cu, Zn, and Ni. Although His-tags, combined with Ni-based resins, are widely used due to their biophysical properties and commercial availability, the structure and nature of the metal cation coordination have remained unclear.

Understanding the arrangement of tubulin heterodimers within MTs is key to their function. Using frequency modulation atomic force microscopy (FM-AFM) and simulations, we revealed the submolecular arrangement of α- and β-tubulin subunits on the inner MT surface.

Hydroxyurea is an inhibitor of ribonucleotide reductase and is commonly used in laboratories to induce replication stress or arrest cells in the S phase for cell cycle or checkpoint studies. However, hydroxyurea also causes side effects such as oxidative stress, particularly under chronic exposure conditions. This complicates the interpretation of the cell-killing mechanisms, particularly in a previously uncharacterized mutant, and thus hampers the analyses.

However, the underlying mechanisms are incompletely understood. Here, we report the development of a de novo immune complex-mediated glomerulonephritis (GN) in a kidney transplant recipient with chronic hepatitis E.

Even with ABO-matched donor-recipient pairs, ABO group determination may provide valuable insight into allograft status. Herein, we report a case of a 76-year-old female patient with myeloid neoplasm who underwent ABO-matched stem cell transplantation and in whom mixed-field ABO antigen expression during routine follow-up testing post-transplantation was the first sign of a change in transplant graft status; the mixed-field findings pre-dated changes in formal chimerism testing.

Regarding this, identifying and correctly classifying tumors is a crucial task in the field of medical imaging. The disease-related tumor classification problem, on which deep learning technologies have also become a focus, is very important in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Design: This research was a single-blind, repeated measures, randomized prospective controlled study.
Method: This study was conducted between August 2022 and April 2023 with patients who underwent autologous in the bone marrow transplantation (BMT) unit.
Plasmonic nanomaterials such as Au, Ag, and Cu are widely recognized for their strong light-matter interactions, making them promising photothermal materials for solar steam generation. However, their practical use in water evaporation is significantly limited by the trade-off between high costs and poor stability. In this regard, we introduce a novel, nonmetallic dual plasmonic TiN/MoO composite.

As ER stress is associated with numerous diseases, it is highly important to delineate the molecular mechanisms governing the ER stress to gain insight into the disease pathology. Long non-coding RNAs, transcripts with a length of over 200 nucleotides that do not code for proteins, interact with proteins and nucleic acids, fine-tuning the UPR to restore ER homeostasis via various modes of actions.

Here, we report the development and optimization of an aqueous-based, template-independent enzymatic RNA oligonucleotide synthesis platform as an alternative to traditional chemical methods. The enzymatic synthesis of RNA oligonucleotides is made possible by controlled incorporation of reversible terminator nucleotides with a common 3'-O-allyl ether blocking group using new CID1 poly(U) polymerase mutant variants.

Studying the chemical, environmental, and life-related cellular physical characteristics of size-fractionated PMs is important because of their different degrees of harmful effects on human respiratory tracts and organ systems, causing severe diseases. This study evaluates the chemical components of size-fractionated PMs down to PM collected during a biomass-burning episode, including elemental/organic carbon and trace elements.

walled-off pancreatic necrosis (WOPN) is one of the complications of acute pancreatitis (AP) with high mortality. A method to predict the development of WOPN in AP patients admitted to the emergency department may guide life-saving practices such as early initiation of antibiotic therapy and, when necessary, referral of the patient to a center where necrosectomy can be performed. This study is a prospective observational study.

To investigate whether there is a difference in mean diffusivity (MD) and fractional anisotropy (FA) values in the auditory pathways of neurofibromatosis type 1 patients with and without focal areas of abnormal signal intensity (FASI) compared to healthy controls by using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI). Patients were classified as group 1 with focal areas of abnormal signal intensity in the brainstem, group 2 without focal areas of abnormal signal intensity, and healthy control group 3 according to the MRI findings. Mean diffusivity and fractional anisotropy values of lateral lemniscus, inferior colliculus, corpus geniculatum mediale, Heschl gyrus, and brainstem were compared between groups.

Nevertheless, MPs act as hotspots for the colonization by a diverse range of microorganisms that can adhere to plastic surfaces, resulting in the subsequent formation of biofilms-a potential threat especially in terms of pathogenicity. This study employed 16S rRNA and 18S rRNA sequencing metagenomic analyses to investigate microbial communities within biofilms on plastic materials exposed to long-term marine and freshwater environments.
