The effect of having a child with hearing impairment on parents.

Objective: In this study, it was aimed to compare parents of children with hearing impairment (with cochlear implant (CI) or hearing aid) and parents of children with normal hearing (NH) in terms of care burden, self-efficacy and psychological resilience levels.

Methods: The study participants were parents of children aged 3-12 years. Zarit Care Burden Scale (ZCBS), Parental Self-Efficacy Scale (PSES) and Brief Psychological Resilience Scale (BPRS) were administered to the parents.
