Background: This study aimed to investigate disease-related risk factors, malnutrition status, and life quality of individuals receiving treatment for head and neck cancer.
Methods: This study which was done at a private hospital for 1 year, was comprised of 42 individuals, with 21 head and neck cancer patients (PG) and 21 controls (CG). Anthropometric measurements were taken, and biochemical parameters were analyzed.
Objective: the aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between serum vitamin D and B12 levels, nutritional levels, depression, and anxiety in adult cancer patients before and after chemotherapy. Methods: a case-controlled study was carried out on 44 patients who were diagnosed with cancer and applied to the Chemotherapy Unit for treatment (patient group, PG) and 44 volunteer individuals (control group, CG) with similar characteristics to the age and gender-matched patient group but with no diagnosis of cancer. Results: the average age of individuals in PG is 52.

In this study, we determine the validity and reliability of the Muscularity Oriented Eating Test (MOET) among Turkish university students, thereby creating the MOET-TR. First, the MOET was translated by using the translation-back translation method for cultural equivalence. Then, the validity and reliability analyses were performed on 460 university students.

Objective: To determine the risk factors of obesity and diet on breast cancer in Ankara, Turkey.
Methods: A case-controlled study was carried out on newly diagnosed 40 breast cancer patients [patient group (PC)] and 40 volunteer individuals [control group (CG)] with no diagnosis of cancer and history of cancer in the family with similar characteristics to the age and gender-matched patient group between March and July 2016. All the individuals were administered a questionnaire by face-to-face interview method.
