We present a case of a 59-year-old patient with chronic low back pain, caused by a retroperitoneal intraneural tumour. Laparoscopic excision was performed and histology revealed a spinal nerve root neurofibroma. UV-stabilizers are a class of additives that provide extended polymer resistance to UV-degradation, but have also been suggested to have antimicrobial activity, potentially preventing the spread of pathogens, and inhibiting microbial-induced biodegradation. In this work, we incorporated different UV-stabilizers, a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), Tinuvin 770 DF and Tinuvin PA 123, or a hybrid HALS/UV-absorber, Tinuvin 5151, in polyurethane formulations to produce lacquer-films, and tested their antimicrobial activity against (methicillin-resistant and -sensitive strains), and . Moyamoya disease is a unique cerebrovascular disease characterized by narrowing of the terminal portion of internal carotid arteries and circle of Willis, with consequent development of a network of collateral vessels in response to brain ischemia. Moyamoya vascular pattern can be idiopathic (Moyamoya disease), is more likely to occur in individuals of Asian ascent and in the pediatric age, or is associated with other diseases (Moyamoya syndrome).
