Objectives: This study aimed to examine the relationship between checkpoint receptors (PD-1, PD-L1, PD-L2, CTLA-4) and lymphoid infiltration level (TILs) with prognostic features of patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC).
Methods: A retrospective study was designed at a tertiary referential university hospital between April 2008 and December 2020. The surgical specimen of the patients who met the eligibility criteria were re-examined histopathological, sociodemographic, clinical, pathological, and follow-up findings of patients were determined.
Purpose: Trastuzumab, the HER2 oncogene targeting drug, shows remarkable clinical efficacy in HER2-amplified breast cancer patients. Despite of robust activity, some of the patients with HER2-positive breast cancers do not get the benefit due to trastuzumab resistance. Overexpression of p95HER2 is one of the molecular mechanisms of trastuzumab resistance.
