Purpose: Our goal was to evaluate the neutrophil:lymphocyte (NLR) and platelet:lymphocyte (PLR) ratios measured before transplantation and their correlation with new-onset diabetes after transplantation (NODAT) in renal transplant recipients.
Patients And Methods: We conducted our study in 324 adult patients consecutively admitted to Military Hospital 103, Ha Noi, Viet Nam, who received kidney allografts from living donors. These patients were followed-up during the first 2 years post-transplantation for NODAT.
Peripheral neuropathy is a common complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) that results in nerve conduction abnormalities. This study aimed to investigate the parameters of nerve conduction in lower extremities among T2DM patients in Vietnam. Methods: Forty-one RA patients and 31 healthy controls were included in this study. All of 72 participants underwent digital radiography of the bilateral hand and wrist; then, all the images were opened by ImageJ software to measure the width of wrist and hand joint space (total 2160 joints).
