Article Synopsis
  • The Gadd45 gene, particularly Gadd45A, plays a crucial role in CNS functions and is linked to neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's disease (AD).
  • The study revealed that deleting Gadd45A disrupts autophagy regulation by influencing Cdkn1A expression, leading to cognitive impairments and neuroinflammation in a mouse model.
  • Results showed that Gadd45A knockout mice exhibited memory deficits, increased Tau hyperphosphorylation, higher levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, and lower markers of autophagy, highlighting its potential role in AD pathology.

Diabetic wounds require a multifactorial approach because several factors are involved in its occurrence. Herein we investigated whether transplantation of hyaluronic acid (HA) in combination with menstrual blood derived stem cells (MenSCs) could promote healing in diabetic rats.
