Different strategies have been approved for controlling extended-spectrum βeta lactamase (ESBL) producing uropathogenic bacteria. The antibacterial activity of Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) is an effective strategy due to its probiotic characteristics and beneficial effects on human health. The antibiotic susceptibility test, disk diffusion method, and double disc synergy test indicated that five enteric uropathogenic isolates were ESBL producers during the present study.
