Brucellosis, a multisystem infectious disorder, continues to be a serious public health problem in some parts of the world. Neurobrucellosis constitutes about 4% of all brucellosis cases. Brucellosis-associated myositis is extremely rare, and there is only 1 reported case in the English literature.
