Objective: To assess the association between early postoperative choroidal detachment and intraocular pressure (IOP) following nonpenetrating deep sclerectomy in pediatric primary congenital glaucoma.
Design: Retrospective double-arm cohort study. .
Introduction: Corneal myxoma is a rare benign tumor that can occur in the cornea where the exact cause remains unknown. However, it is thought to be a reactive process that can be caused by corneal infections, ectasia, ocular trauma, or surgery.
Presentation Of Case: In this case report, we describe a 35-year-old-woman who presented with corneal myxoma after micro-pulse cyclophotocoagulation (MPCPC).
BACKGROUND Micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation is a non-invasive, widely employed procedure that uses diode laser to target the ciliary body to lower the intraocular pressure. Despite its acknowledged efficacy, certain complications are recognized, with neurotrophic keratopathy being a rare yet serious consequence. This report seeks to shed light on a potential high-risk subgroup susceptible to neurotrophic keratopathy, exemplified by our patient with Marfan syndrome, a condition characterized by thin sclera.

Nonpenetrating deep sclerectomy is effective in treating primary congenital glaucoma. However, the effects of inadvertent trabeculodescemetic window perforation remain unclear.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the outcomes of two frequently used surgical valves in treating refractory glaucoma.
Methods: This was a retrospective and nonrandomized study comparing patients aged 18 years or older who underwent implantation using standardized surgical techniques.
Results: A total of 86 patients were included in the study, 48 in the Ahmed group and 38 in the Baerveldt group.
Purpose: The diagnostic criteria of allergic fungal rhinosinusitis focus on characteristic clinical, radiographic, histopathologic findings and immunologic characteristics of the disease. None of these are useful for a prompt outpatient diagnosis of the condition. No clear endoscopic signs (pathognomonic) of polyps in allergic fungal rhinosinusitis are mentioned in the literature.

The aim of this study is to report the side effects of oral topiramate in two young patients presented with bilateral ocular blurring and discomfort, causing unique development of secondary acute angle closure (AAC) after discontinuation of oral topiramate. Both patients, with a history of seizure and migraine, respectively, were taking oral topiramate to control their mentioned diseases. Both had secondary AAC and high intraocular pressure, after discontinuing topiramate.
