Background: To report clinical results after percutaneous cement discoplasty (PCD) in a multicentric case series with a minimum of 2 years of follow-up.

Methods: Between December 2014 and January 2019, 180 patients with low back pain and advanced degeneration were treated with percutaneous discoplasty in 2 centers. The inclusion criteria were as follows: patients 65 years or older, with mechanical low back pain with or without spinal stenosis, who did not respond to conservative management.

Objective: Recent improvements in cage designs with integral fixation and screw attachments have made stand-alone ALIF a viable option with several possible advantages. The authors report one operated case of traumatic sternal segmental dislocation in a child, and propose a mechanism for this uncommon lesion. A fourteen year old boy was admitted in emergency for anterior chest pain, occurring during an exercise in parallel bars without any fall. X ray showed traumatic dislocation of the upper sternal segment.

Purpose Of The Study: The authors propose the use of Cotrel-Dubousset instrumentation in pelvic ring fractures with posterior trans-sacral disruption. They report 3 cases, describe the operative procedure and analyse the advantages and inconveniences of this method.

Material: 3 patients, injured after hand-gliding fall, presented at their admission, a fracture of the pelvis with associated lesions: the first one had a pelvic ring fracture type C2 (according to TILE classification), several associated fractures (femur, ankle, wrist), and brain trauma.

We report 33 cases of venous thrombosis of the limb, in children aged 15 years or less (average age is 10 years old): 22 acute thrombophlebitis have been treated, 11 children shown post-phlebitic disease. The thrombus was found, most of the time, in the iliac and/or femoral vein. Acute complications were seen in 30% of our cases, and 25% treated children reviewed, had post-phlebitic sequelae.

In reference to 79 cases of primary acute pyogenic arthritis involving large joints of the extremities, the authors analyze respectively the results of medical and surgical treatments. After tapping, the medical treatment combining antibiotics and cast immobilisation, has enabled recovery in more than one out of two cases with "restitutio ad integrum" of the joint. In the absence of rapid improvement, an arthrotomy, performed in 23 instances, has enabled, with irrigation and drainage of the joint, to control in a large number of cases, the infectious process.

Twelve arthroscopies have been performed in the treatment of acute septic arthritis of the knee. This gave an early visualisation of the cartilaginous and synovial lesions and treatment by lavage, drainage and irrigation of the joint. Using this technique, all the patients were cured of the infection and only one patient showed ultimate limitation of movement of the knee.
