The invisibility of the cognitive cost of military police work.

Objective: To assess the cognitive cost of work for military police officers in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Method: This is a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, carried out with 446 military police officers, of both sexes, distributed between non-commissioned officers and officers, in the 7th, 15th, 20th, 24th and 41st Military Police Battalions. An instrument was used to depict sociodemographic, work, lifestyle and health conditions and a scale for assessing the human cost of work, which analyses the demands of the job through physical, cognitive and affective costs.

Pejotização and implications for nursing work in Brazil: repercussions of neoliberalism.

Objective: To analyze pejotização in the context of nursing work and the respective implications for the protection and health of these professionals.

Method: Documentary study, which had news, resolutions, and recommendations issued by the Federal Nursing Council and the Regional Nursing Councils as data collection source, which underwent lexical analysis, based on data processing using the software Iramuteq.

Results: Six news items were captured for analysis.

Repercussions of sickle cell disease and sickle cell ulcers for men inserted in the world of work.

Objective: To analyze the repercussions of sickle cell disease and sickle cell ulcer for men in the world of work and discuss the challenges faced to remain in the work environment.

Method: A qualitative study, developed at the dressing clinic and at a stomatherapy clinic. Twenty men with sickle cell disease and sickle cell ulcer participated, applying a semi-structured interview script.

Clinical nursing care protocol for convalescent plasma transfusion in patients with COVID-19.

Introduction: The treatment of COVID-19 is still challenge. So convalescent plasma can be an important alternative of treatment. Protocols with nursing care during infusion is very important to guide an effective and safety care.

Teaching Iramuteq for use in qualitative research according to YouTube videos: an exploratory-descriptive study.

Objectives: to identify the contents and characteristics of videos posted on YouTube that deal with Iramuteq software use as a tool to assist qualitative research and discuss the contribution of this social network to dissemination of knowledge, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Method: this is an exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out with YouTube videos, collected in June 2021 and subjected to thematic analysis.

Brazilian labor reform and implications for nursing work: a case study.

Objective: to analyze the Brazilian labor reform repercussions and its implications for nursing work.

Method: this is an exploratory-descriptive case study. Data were collected on the website of four Regional Labor Courts (in Brazil), taking into account the cases judged in first and second instance, involving nurses and aspects of labor rights that were linked to labor reform.

COVID-19 pandemic and nursing week: analysis from software Iramuteq.

Objective: to analyze the themes of publications on the Federal Council of Nursing (Cofen) website during Nursing Week 2020.

Method: documentary, qualitative research, whose data sources were publications on the Cofen website from May 12 to 20, 2020. Data were processed by software IRAMUTEQ®, through the Descending Hierarchical Classification and analyzed under the historical materialism framework.

Contradicting perceptions of nursing teachers on the neoliberal context of labor.

Objectives: To identify and analyze the perceptions of nursing teachers on the new configurations of the job world and the repercussions for their labor activities.

Methods: Qualitative, descriptive, exploratory research, carried out at two federal nursing colleges in Rio de Janeiro. Data collection occurred with 27 nursing teachers, between May and June 2016, through semi-structured interviews.

Objective: To reflect about the work context of nursing professionals in the COVID-19 pandemic and the repercussions for these professionals' mental health.

Method: This is a theoretical reflective study with two thematic axes: i) Pandemic by COVID-19: epidemiological condition, manifestations, and preventive measures; ii) Precariousness of work in times of pandemic and impacts on the worker's mental health.

Objective to identify the reasons that led to the judicialization of health care in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic; describe the outcomes of lawsuits concerning health care involving the COVID-19; and analyze the cases of health care judicialization intended to ensure the population's right to health. Method qualitative, explanatory case study. Data were collected from the websites of the Federal Prosecution Service, Regional Labor Court (1st Region), and the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro.

Teaching work routine: challenges to nursing professors in contemporary times.

Objective: To describe the organization of nursing professors' work and analyze its limiting and facilitating aspects.

Method: A qualitative and descriptive study composed of professors from the federal public universities of Rio de Janeiro. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews.

Perception of nursing leadership on the fight against the precariousness of working conditions.

Objective: To describe and analyze gender and socioeconomic issues of category workers which interfere in the fight against the precariousness of working conditions within the perception of nursing leaders.

Method: A descriptive, exploratory study with a qualitative approach conducted at ABEn , Coren , Rio de Janeiro sessions and SindEnfRJ with leaders of work organizations, professionals in leadership positions, including directors or presidents. Individual interviews were conducted, and the data were treated using the content analysis technique.

Neoliberalist influences on nursing hospital work process and organization.

Objectives:: To describe and analyze the influence of the neoliberal economic and political model on the nursing hospital work process and organization.

Method:: Qualitative descriptive research, having as its scenery a university hospital. The subjects were 34 nursing workers.

[Biopsychosocial determinants of the labor inclusion process of the person with a stoma].

This study focused the social determinants of people with an ostomy that facilitate and / or hamper their work inclusion. The objectives were to identify and analyze the difficulties and facilities for people with an ostomy for work inclusion. Descriptive exploratory, qualitative research, carried out with 20 stomized through semi-structured interviews, using the Thematic Content Analysis.

[The FENF/UERJ nursing graduate in the working world].

This is a qualitative study on the satisfaction of nursing graduates from Rio de Janeiro State University (Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro) entering the working world. This study identifies and analyzes the graduates' perception of their practice and experience in the working world. The study is part of the institutional evaluative process subsequent to the curricular reform and implementation of the political-pedagogical project, based on the Critical Theory of Education.

[Interpersonal relationship of nursing interns in the hospital context].

The object of this study is the interpersonal relationship of nursing interns of FENF/UERJ with customers, teachers, and the multidisciplinary team of a university hospital. The introduction of the concept of teaching-learning based on the critical education theory promoted a narrower relationship between teachers, students and other parties involved in working at a hospital. By using qualitative descriptive research whose subjects were 26 nursing interns of the 9th period in the 2nd semester of 2002, we aimed at validating observations about changes in the quality of students' interpersonal attitude.
