Chemotherapy-induced ovarian toxicity in patients with cancer significantly affects future fertility depending on the age of initiation of treatment. However, the mechanisms underlying the age-related depletion of the ovarian reserve are not well understood. We investigated the effects of chemotherapy on pre- and postpubertal ovarian reserves in a mouse model.
