T cell-based immunotherapy has transformed cancer treatment. Nonetheless, T cell antitumor activity can be inhibited by an immune checkpoint molecule expressed on cancer cells, program death ligand 1 (PD-L1), which interacts with the PD-1 on T cells. We generated αPD-L1 × αCD3 bispecific T-cell engager-armed T cells (BATs) to prevent PD-L1/PD-1 interaction and hence to redirect T cells to kill cancer cells.

Prolactin (PRL) and prolactin receptor (PRLR) play an important role in normal breast development and carcinogenesis of breast cancer. There are two major isoforms of PRLR, consisting of long-form (LF-PRLR) and short-form (SF-PRLR) that stimulate different signaling pathways.

In this study, we report a case of a 64-year-old Thai woman who presented with a lump in her left breast that was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. At the same time, a small nodule was found in her right breast, via imaging study, without any abnormal symptoms.

Together with its receptor, prolactin receptor (PRLR) have been shown to play a role in breast cancer. This study aimed to examine the roles of and polymorphisms and expression in breast cancer risk and aggressiveness in Thai patients.

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the clinical significance of the AR and its regulatory pathway in non-luminal subtypes of breast cancer.

TNBC accounts for 15-20% of breast cancer. TNBC is associated with more aggressive disease and worse clinical outcome.

One-step nucleic acid amplification (OSNA) is now the most accepted method for intra-operative assessment of sentinel lymph nodes (SLN) as it can semi-quantitatively determine the tumor burden in these SLN. Axillary lymph node dissection (ALND) may be omitted in patients with limited disease in the axilla.

Later, the patient developed left breast mass. Core needle biopsy of the mass revealed poorly differentiated invasive ductal carcinoma.

Methods: Medical records of patients who had undergone neoadjuvant chemotherapy for breast cancer between January 2007 and September 2011 were retrospectively reviewed, and the pCR rates were calculated according to three sets of criteria: the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), the MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC), and the German Breast Group (GBG). Tumors were classified as luminal A like, luminal B like, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), or triple-negative.
A 10-year-old Thai boy with a metanephric stromal tumor (MST) with unusual adipose differentiation is reported. It has been described that the heterologous tissue element including fat is exceptionally demonstrated in MST cases. Multifocal grossly detected intratumoral adipose tissue as shown in this present case has not been elucidated and illustrated before.

We reviewed a cohort of patients who received preoperative anti-estrogen therapy after baseline biopsy and then had a repeat biopsy after several weeks on treatment. Patients with estrogen receptor positive tumors received anastrozole and fulvestrant in combination with gefitinib.

The molecular changes in type I endometrial carcinomas include mutations in PTEN, PIK3CA, KRAS, and beta-catenin, along with microsatellite instability, whereas type II endometrial carcinomas are characterized by genetic alterations in p53, HER2/neu, p16, and E-cadherin. For endometrial neoplasms with a malignant mesenchymal component, C-MYC mutations and loss of heterozygosity are frequently seen in carcinosarcomas, and a fusion gene, JAZF1/JJAZ1, is distinctive for endometrial stromal sarcoma.
