Introduction: In Saudi Arabia, the epidemiology of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is not well studied and is marked by inconsistencies in clinical diagnosis. Therefore, in this study, we explored the prevalence, clinical characteristics, and diagnostic validity of a prediction score based upon disease markers in orthropedic clinics' patients in the Madinah region of Saudi Arabia.
Method: The clinical data for this retrospective cross-sectional study were retrieved from the database registry of orthopedic clinics in selected hospitals of the Medinah province of Saudi Arabia.
As vosaroxin as a fluoroquinolone (FQ) had anticancer effectiveness; this study aimed to screen new lipophilic FQs for their dual antimicrobial-antiproliferative activities. Using sulforhodamine B assay; 36 lipophilic FQs have been screened for antimicrobial propensities against S. aureus, E.

Therefore, it was hypothesized that acidic chelator drugs could have a genuine potential as antiproliferative agents. Based on their pKa, the selected 15 acidic drugs of eight classes-namely sulfonylureas, proton pump inhibitors, fluoroquinolones, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents, thiazolidinediones, thienopyridines, statins, and nicotinic acid-were assayed for anticancer HTS against the lung A549, skin A375, breast MCF7 and T47D, pancreatic PANC1, cervical HeLa, and leukemia K562 cancer cell lines and normal fibroblasts.

The acidity was the basis of selection, since most PL inhibitors exhibit acidic groups and high lipophilicity. Orlistat was the robust reference agent for potency and efficacy determinations.
