Here, we demonstrate a facile approach to fabricate such multifunctional and fully controlled light-driven microrobots. The microrobots are titanium dioxide-silica Janus particles that are propelled in aqueous hydroquinone/benzoquinone fuel when illuminated by low-intensity UV light.
