The processing of citrus fruits for juice extraction generates solid and liquid biowaste, a valuable bio-resource that can be utilized in various sectors, including food and non-food industries. Incorporating Circular Economy (CE) principles into the citrus supply chain offers numerous opportunities but also presents certain barriers.

Decision-making framework for a resilient sustainable production system during COVID-19: An evidence-based research.

This work presents a decision-making framework for integrating resilience and sustainability in managing production systems during COVID-19. An operationalization scheme manifested via a case study at a manufacturer in the food production sector supports the proposed framework. The focus is laid on the tactical and operational decisions within the production system.
