Discrimination and Stigma Associated with Obesity: A Comparative Study between Spain and Egypt - Data from the OBESTIGMA study.

Introduction: This study explores the under-investigated area of obesity-related discrimination and stigmatization across different countries, specifically comparing Spain (Europe) and Egypt (Middle East).

Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional observational study involving 2,090 participants from both countries. Participants completed three well-validated questionnaires to assess their attitudes toward obesity, experiences of weight-related stigma, and internalization of weight bias: Antifat Attitudes Scale (AFA), Stigmatizing Situations Inventory (SSI), and Weight Bias Internalization Scale (WBIS).

COVID-19 Pandemic: Knowledge, Attitude, and Perception of Medical Students Toward the Novel Coronavirus Disease.

Background: Medical students are vulnerable to infection by the coronavirus. Their awareness of the disease is crucial for their safety and for the management of the epidemic by spreading supportive information in their communities. The aim of this study was to assess coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related knowledge, attitude, and preventive practices among Egyptian medical students.

Bullying among undergraduate medical students at Tanta University, Egypt: a cross-sectional study.

Introduction: Bullying is an aggressive behaviour that involves unwanted negative actions, which are repeated over time that can negatively impact a person.

Aim: To explore bullying behaviours experienced by Tanta University undergraduate students during their study in clinical medical education.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at Faculty of Medicine, during the period between first of October 2018 to end of May 2019.
