Peri-implantitis is a disease that causes the detachment of orthodontic mini-implants. Recently, stress-induced senescent cells have been reported to be involved in various inflammatory diseases. Senescent cell-eliminating drugs, termed "senolytics", can improve the symptoms of such diseases.
