Objectives: Investigate serum vitamin D (vit D) levels' relation to uterine volume in idiopathic central precocious puberty (ICPP) girls and compare findings with normal peers.
Methods: Analyzed 278 ICPP cases from January 2017 to September 2022 alongside 239 normally developing girls. Collected clinical data and lab markers and performed subgroup analysis based on vit D levels.
Background: This retrospective study explored the effect on adult height of a combination of recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) and aromatase inhibitors (AIs), or rhGH and a gonadotropin-releasing hormone analog (GnRHa), and compared their effects with rhGH alone in males at advanced bone age with idiopathic short stature (ISS).
Methods: In this retrospective study, rhGH or rhGH combined with GnRHa or rhGH combined with AI therapy was given to males with advanced bone age (13-15 years) and diagnosed with ISS. The patients were followed to assess their adult height.
Objectives: To study the value of basal luteinizing hormone (LH) level combined with uterine volume measurement in the early diagnosis of central precocious puberty (CPP) in girls with different Tanner stages.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the girls who presented with breast development before the age of 8 years and attended the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2017 to September 2022. According to the results of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist test, the girls with peak LH ≥5.
