Article Synopsis
  • The study reports a rare case of bilateral corneal melting and necrosis in a 48-year-old man occurring 5 weeks post ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccination (Covishield).

  • This case suggests a possible immune-mediated reaction related to the vaccine, marking it as the first documented ocular adverse event after a single dose of a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
