Timely intervention of spontaneous scleral melt in Marfan syndrome.

A young man in his late adolescence presented with a gradually progressive diminution of vision in both eyes for 3 years. A general physical examination revealed features suggestive of Marfan syndrome, with a positive family history. Ocular examination revealed a superonasal lens subluxation with a myopic fundus in both eyes.

Kimura's disease: a mysterious orbital mass.

A male patient in his 20s presented with right lower eyelid swelling and occasional eye ache that was first noticed 3 years ago. Ocular examination revealed a palpable orbital mass, proptosis and restriction of right eye movement. The best-corrected visual acuity in the right eye was 6/24.
