Research on Area of Uncertainty of Underwater Moving Target Based on Stochastic Maneuvering Motion Model.

Considering the influence of measurement error on target state estimation, there is an uncertain dispersion region for target position estimate, that is, the area of uncertainty (AOU, area of uncertainty). In underwater target tracking, the state estimation is point estimation without AOU estimation and its accuracy is poor in the early stage because of large measurement errors. Fast tracking with higher accuracy and AOU estimation are of great significance to time-sensitive target tracking.

Here, we find that MESP1 interacts with RING1A/RING1, the core component of PRC1.

Pancreatitis is the leading cause of hospitalization in gastroenterology, and no medications are available for treating this disease in current clinical practice. In this study, we initially observed a marked increase of nuclear FXR in pancreatic tissues of human patients with pancreatitis.

Objective: Somatic symptoms are common comorbidities of major depressive disorder (MDD), and negatively impact the course and severity of the disease. In order to enrich the understanding of the pathological mechanism and clarify the neurobiological basis of somatic symptoms in depression, we attempted to explore the changes of brain structure and function in a large sample between depression with and without somatic symptoms.

Methods: Structure magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data were collected from 342 patients with somatic symptoms (SD), 208 patients without somatic symptoms (NSD), and 510 healthy controls (HCs) based on the REST-meta-MDD project.

High-Precision ADC Spectrum Testing under Non-Coherent Sampling Conditions.

Realizing coherent sampling is one of the major bottlenecks in high-precision ADC spectrum testing. In spectrum analysis, if coherent sampling is not implemented, spectral leakage will result, which in turn leads to inaccurate test results. In this paper, a combined four-parameter sine-curve-fitting algorithm is proposed incorporating non-coherent sampling, with the amplitude, initial phase, and frequency parameters of the sine wave being obtained by fitting.

XLRS Rat with Rs1 Exon-1-Del Shows Failure of Early Postnatal Outer Retina Development.

We generated a Long Evans transgenic rat with targeted deletion of the whole Rs1 exon-1 and evaluated the pathological retinal phenotype of this rat model of X-linked retinoschisis (XLRS). The rat exhibited very early onset and rapidly progressive photoreceptor degeneration. The outer limiting membrane (OLM) was disrupted and discontinuous by post-natal day (P15) and allowed photoreceptor nuclei to dislocate from the outer nuclear layers (ONL) into the sub-retinal side of the OLM.

The patients were grouped according to the Takakura classification, and assessed using the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) Ankle-Hindfoot Score and the Visual Analogue Score (VAS).

Melatonin attenuates chronic stress-induced hippocampal inflammatory response and apoptosis by inhibiting ADAM17/TNF-α axis.

Melatonin, as a dietary supplement, has a potent neuroprotective effect and exerts a certain antidepressant effect. This study explored the molecular mechanisms and targets of melatonin on chronic stress-induced hippocampal damage from the perspective of inhibiting inflammatory cytokines release. Our results indicated that melatonin alleviated chronic restraint stress (CRS)-induced inflammatory response and apoptosis, thus improving hippocampal structural damage and subsequent depression-like behaviors in rats.

Hospitalized patients with isolated distal deep vein thrombosis: anticoagulation therapy or not?

Background: Isolated distal deep vein thrombosis (IDDVT), a disease frequently detected in hospitalized patients, can progress to proximal deep vein thrombosis (PDVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). Here, we evaluated the effects of anticoagulation in hospitalized IDDVT patients.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective study in our hospital and enrolled hospitalized IDDVT patients diagnosed by compression ultrasonography (CUS) from January to December 2020.

Deep Learning for Detection of Intracranial Aneurysms from Computed Tomography Angiography Images.

The accuracy of computed tomography angiography (CTA) image interpretation depends on the radiologist. This study aims to develop a new method for automatically detecting intracranial aneurysms from CTA images using deep learning, based on a convolutional neural network (CNN) implemented on the DeepMedic platform. Ninety CTA scans of patients with intracranial aneurysms are collected and divided into two datasets: training (80 subjects) and test (10 subjects) datasets.

The chromosomes in the algorithm are expressed by real strings. The method of bit string crossover and mutation is used to solve the premature problem of the algorithm.
