Objective: To describe the characteristics of a consultation-liaison psychiatry (CLP) service at a general hospital in China, compare the literature on CLP in other hospitals in China and abroad, and identify reasons for the differences.
Methods: The medical records of all inpatients who received liaison consultations in the first year of the establishment of Xi'an International Medical Center Hospital were reviewed. Demographic data, specific department, number of consultations, reasons for consultation, outcome of consultation, and follow-up information on patients was collected.
Objective: To establish a prognostic signature for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) based on cuproptosis-related long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), and to study the immune-related functions of LUAD.
Methods: First, transcriptome data and clinical data related to LUAD were downloaded from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), and cuproptosis-related genes were analyzed to identify cuproptosis-related lncRNAs. Univariate COX analysis, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) analysis, and multivariate COX analysis were performed to analyze the cuproptosis-related lncRNAs, and a prognostic signature was established.
MicroRNAs (MiRNAs) play pivotal roles in regulating gene expression, and serve as crucial biomarkers for diagnosis of a variety of disease. However, label-free and sensitive miRNA detection remains a huge challenge due to the low abundance. Herein, we developed an approach through integrating primer exchange reaction (PER) with DNA-templated silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) for label-free and sensitive miRNA detection.

Thus, we aimed to identify biomarkers associated with AML prognosis in children. Using transcriptomics on an mRNA dataset from 27 children with non-M3 AML, we selected genes from among those with the top 5000 median absolute deviation (MAD) values for subsequent analysis which showed that two modules were associated with AML risk groups.

Methods: We evaluated 174 patients with chronic prostatitis (44 cases of NIH-II, 65 cases of NIH-IIIa, and 65 cases of NIH-IIIb) who had obvious symptoms of chronic prostatitis syndrome and met the diagnostic criteria of National Institutes of Health Prostatitis from May 2018 to February 2021. They were also evaluated according to the clinical treatment's effect after six weeks of treatment.
Background: Left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC) is a heterogeneous myocardial disorder with an uncertain prognosis. There was a lack of studies on LVNC subtypes at present. This study sought to identify the prognosis of the overall population of LVNC and to describe the distribution of different subtypes and compare their prognosis.

Objective: To explore the prevalence and clinical manifestations of ring chromosomes among children featuring abnormal development.
Methods: From January 2015 to August 2021, 7574 children referred for abnormal development were selected, and their peripheral blood samples were subjected to G-banded chromosomal karyotyping analysis.
Results: Twelve cases of ring chromosomes were detected, which have yielded a prevalence of 0.
Mimicking the native microenvironment is vital for tumor engineering. Breast cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease with various molecular subtypes exhibiting distinct biological behaviors and treatment responsiveness. The heterogeneity of extracellular matrix (ECM) of breast cancer has remained largely unexplored and underestimated.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the MR images from 126 fetuses ranging from 21 to 39 weeks' gestation. Ocular parameters on MR imaging of transverse plane were measured including lens diameter (LD), anteroposterior lens diameter (APLD), lens surface area (LS), globe diameter (GD), anteroposterior globe diameter (APGD), globe surface area (GS).
R2R3-MYB transcription factors play an important role in the synthesis of phenylpropanoid-derived compounds, which in turn provide salt tolerance in plant. In this study, we found that the expression of foxtail millet R2R3-MYB factor SiMYB16 can be induced by salt and drought. SiMYB16 is localized in the nucleus and acts as a transcriptional activator.

In the present study, a comprehensive immune response data (33 cytokines) was obtained in school-age children (3-9 years old) during MPP, aiming to analyze the immune response patterns during MPP. At acute phase, changes of cytokines were both detected in GMPP (24/33) and SMPP (23/33) groups compared to the healthy group (p < 0.

When pitch shifts suddenly appear in auditory feedback, the majority of the responses are opposing, correcting for the mismatch between perceived pitch and actual pitch. However, research has indicated that following responses to auditory perturbation could be common.

However, past research was usually conducted in regimes with excessive nitrogen (N) fertilization, which was not conducive to the current national goal of green and sustainable development. Therefore, exploring the potential of organic fertilizer substitution for mineral N fertilizer under regimes with reduced N inputs is important to further utilize organic fertilizer resources and establish sustainable nutrient management recommendations in the winter wheat ( L.

The views of science and ethics in this issue are controversial and the unblinding procedures should be well-designed. In real world settings, a lack of use of this unblinding process in protocol was observed in the analysis of 134 double-blind randomized controlled anticancer drug clinical trials conducted in China from 2018 to 2021.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common liver malignancy where tumorigenesis and metastasis are believed to be tied to the hallmarks of hypoxia and tumor microenvironment (TME).
Methods: In this study, to investigate the relationships among hypoxia, TME, and HCC prognosis, we collected two independent datasets from a public database (TCGA-LIHC for identification, GSE14520 for validation) and identified the hypoxia-related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) from the TCGA data, and the univariable Cox regression and lasso regression analyses were performed to construct the prognosis model. An HCC prognosis model with 4 hypoxiarelated DEGs ("NDRG1", "ENO1", "SERPINE1", "ANXA2") was constructed, and high- and low-risk groups of HCC were established by the median of the model risk score.
Using video microscopy, we measure the long-time diffusion coefficients of colloidal particles at different concentrations. The measured diffusion coefficients start to deviate from theoretical predictions based on random collision models upon entering the supercooled regime. The theoretical diffusion relation is recovered by assigning an effective mass proportional to the size of structurally correlated clusters to the diffusing particles, providing an indirect method to probe the growth of static correlation length scales approaching the glass transition.
