Expectations of healthcare professionals of community-based telemedicine in emergency medical service.

Background: In times of demographic change and an immense shortage of qualified personnel in emergency medical services, telemedicine could offer more efficient solutions for better care. Given the community-based nature of emergency services, local communities play an important role. This study explored the expectations of healthcare professionals and volunteers for telemedicine tools in prehospital emergency medicine.

Research areas and trends in family-centered care in the 21st century: a bibliometric review.

Introduction: Family-centered care (FCC) is a model of care provision that sees a patient's loved ones as essential partners to the health care team and positively influences the psychological safety of patients and loved ones.

Objectives: This review aims to present an overview of impactful publications, authors, institutions, journals, countries, fields of application and trends of FCC in the 21 century as well as suggestions on further research.

Methods: The Web of Science Database was searched for publications on FCC between January 2000 and Dezember 2023.
