A simultaneous determination of related substances by high performance liquid chromatography in a drug product using quality by design approach.

The combination of Abacavir, Lamivudine and Dolutegravir is an anti-retroviral formulation that displays high efficacy and superiority in comparison to other anti-retroviral combinations. Analysis of related substances in this combination drug product was very challenging due to the presence of nearly thirty peaks including the three active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), eleven known impurities and other pharmaceutical excipients. Objective of this study was to develop a single, selective, and robust high performance liquid chromatography method for the efficient separation of all peaks.

Management of large radicular cyst by conservative surgical approach: a case report.

Radicular cysts are the most common cystic lesions which affect the jaw. They are most common among all the jaw cysts and comprise about 52% to 68% of the entire cysts which affect the human jaw. They are generally symptomless and are diagnosed during routine radiologic investigations.

Solutions to kinking of the side stream carbon dioxide sampling line.

A sidestream gas analyzer samples gases from a sampling port in an adapter placed in a breathing circuit. Kinking of the sampling line of the sidestream capnogram is not an uncommon problem during head and neck surgeries. We have identified the main problem for kinking of the sampling line in head and neck surgeries to be its vertical origin from the connecting point of the breathing circuit.
