Medical applications for high-performance computers in SKIF-GRID network.

The paper presents a set of software services for massive mammography image processing by using high-performance parallel computers of SKIF-family which are linked into a service-oriented grid-network. An experience of a prototype system implementation in two medical institutions is also described.

Advancing of Russian ChemBioGrid by bringing Data Management tools into collaborative environment.

Virtual organizations of researchers need effective tools to work collaboratively with huge sets of heterogeneous data distributed over HealthGrid. This paper describes a mechanism of supporting Digital Libraries in High-Performance Computing environment based on Grid technology. The proposed approach provides abilities to assemble heterogeneous data from distributed sources into integrated virtual collections by using OGSA-DAI.

Being grafted onto Grid environment ontologies deliver an effective "onto-technology" to explore wide variety of different sorts of links in heterogeneous distributed data sources as well as to define new facts and represent new relationships between data sets.
