The aim of this paper is to characterize the main properties and level of pollution of sealed soils in different land use zones of the Eastern administrative district (EAD) of Moscow. In 2016-2017 overall, 47 samples were taken from 35 soil pits. The list of soil properties analyzed included actual acidity, organic carbon content, particle-size distribution, and degree of salinity.

However, these distinctions remain debated at both behavioral and neurophysiological levels, not least due to confounds related to diverging experimental settings. Furthermore, the neural dynamics underpinning these two putative processes remain poorly understood.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of intravenous lacosamide (vimpat) in inpatients with frequent partial-onset seizures and affective and cognitive disorders.
Material And Methods: Fifteen patients were enrolled including 14 patients diagnosed with «organic personality disorder associated with epilepsy» (cryptogenic or symptomatic epilepsy with frequent partial-onset and/or secondary-generalized seizures (serial seizures in some cases) and 1 patient with a preliminary diagnosis of «organic schizophrenia-like disorder», which was changed for «organic personality disorder associated with epilepsy» after examination. Patients were treated with 2--3 antiepileptic drugs (AEDs), but no one of them received earlier lacosamide.
For the purposes of the determination of reasons for the high cancer rates in the population ofthe city of Chelyabinsk there was performed the multiple environmental assessment of the carcinogenic risk from chemicals dissolved in drinking water, food, soil, air (from stationary sources). Based on this assessment there were determined the directions for sanitary and environmental measures.

A group of children and adolescents with ADHD (25 boys and 9 girls), aged 6-17 years, were treated with strattera in the optimum dose (1,2 mg/day) on an outpatient basis. The assessment of treatment effectiveness showed the marked and moderately pronounced clinical effect in 78,1% patients after 3 months. The psychological study revealed a positive trend in the volume and speed of switching attention in 80% of children and the improvement of sustainability of attention - in 69%.

Negative health effects due to chronic inhalation exposure and the poorest environmental areas under observation are identified. The directions of application of the findings are specified.

High sTNF-a55R serum levels were registered in 90% of RA patients. These levels correlated with RA activity by DAS.

Materials And Methods: Enzyme immunoassay with Bender MedSystem kits (Austria) was employed to measure serum concentration of soluble intercellular molecules of adhesion in 36 RA patients.
Results: Elevated levels of serum pICAM-1, pICAM-3 and pP-selectin were registered in 74.
The present study was aimed to examine the lymphoid tissue in the walls of the trachea and major bronchi following the inhalation of acetaldehyde. Albino Wistar rats, subjected to the action of acetaldehyde 20 and 25 mgm/m3 in concentrations during 2, 4, 6, and 8 hrs were the subject of the experiment. It was established that acetaldehyde action in the wall of trachea and major bronchi results in histotopographical changes of lymphoid structures and increase of relative (%) area of lymphoid tissue in the walls of the above-mentioned organs.

Materials And Methods: 59 patients with verified RA diagnosis (22 cases of joint lesion stage I-IIa, 27 of stage IIb-IIIa, 10 of stage IIIb-IV established roentgenologically, 48 patients were seropositive by IgM-rheumatoid factor) were examined for concentrations of serum neopterin and C-reactive protein (CRP). The activity and prognostic factors were characterized by modified Wilke method, the severity index was calculated.

The long-term presence of human beings in a closed room of small volume is accompanied by the accumulation of a common and hemolytic microflora on their bodies, clothes, in the air, and on the room surfaces. A study was made of the dynamics of the spreading of such microflora in rooms measuring from 5-21 m3 when occupied by 1-3 persons for 5-30 days. With minimal sanitation the skin, after 30-40 days, is covered with several thousands of microbes per cm2, of which the hemolytic staphylococci amount to about 500 cells per cm2.
