Objectives: To investigate the pharmacists' perspectives on benefits and risks of using ChatGPT in pharmacy practice and explore how this disruptive and ground-breaking technology can be effectively integrated.

Methods And Materials: A qualitative approach that draws data from licensed pharmacists using semi-structured interviews.

Results: Most participants felt ChatGPT could enhance the compliance, use, management, safety, adherence to medication, medication counseling, minimize medication errors, and streamline medication dispensing.

Awareness of pharmacists and consumers towards protective effects of sunscreens against skin cancer.

The objective of the present study was to assess the awareness level of individuals on the use of sunscreen products, and pharmacists' perception of sunscreen safety. A cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Participants involved included 224 female undergraduates of Ajman University (aged 18-25 years old), 234 patients visiting numerous pharmacies, and 58 pharmacists from the private sector in Dubai.

Efficacy of Oral Vitamin D Therapy in Patients Suffering from Diffuse Hair Loss (Telogen Effluvium).

The aim of the present study was to estimate the prevalence of telogen effluvium (TE) and to evaluate the efficacy of vitamin D in the treatment of this problem in women belonging to various cities of south Punjab, Pakistan. In the present study, 40 adult women suffering from the problem of TE were included. Each woman was treated with oral vitamin D (200,000 IU) therapy fortnightly and a total of 6 doses were given to each patient.

Calcitonin and Bone Physiology: In Vitro, In Vivo, and Clinical Investigations.

Adherence of Geriatric Patients and Their Beliefs toward Their Medicines in the United Arab Emirates.

Introduction: Drug adherence is a major factor in determining health outcomes of geriatric patients and is a growing concern for health-care systems as the geriatric population shows a steep rise due to improved health-care services in the UAE.

Aim: We aimed to evaluate the adherence and beliefs of geriatric patients in the UAE toward their medicines and to explore the factors affecting them.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed including 163 geriatric patients.

In the last few decades, the number of testosterone prescriptions has markedly increased to treat sub-optimal serum levels even though its administration in such conditions is not yet approved.

Objectives: Thyroid Cancer is one of the rarest cancers but its prevalence has been increasing worldwide for the last couple of decades.

Methods: The data collection tool was designed to assess knowledge, awareness, perception, and attitude towards preventive practices of thyroid cancer in Pakistani university students. The data were collected over a duration of six months and a total number of 3722 students participated.

Background And Objective: The fortification of bakery products by new materials that attain various goals is considered a challenging that finally gains useful health amelioration. This study was planned to assess the effect of incorporation of solar dried prickly pear peels powder in qaraqeesh (Egyptian cookies) with respect to increase shelf life, sensory palatability and nutritional value. Prickly pear cactus (Opuntia ficus-indica) beside distributed in arid and semiarid regions proved to have phytochemical compounds with high antioxidants capacity.

l-Amino acid oxidase from Cerastes vipera snake venom: Isolation, characterization and biological effects on bacteria and tumor cell lines.

A homodimeric l-amino acid oxidase enzyme (Cv-LAAOI) was isolated from the venom of Cerastes vipera (Egyptian Sand viper) using gel filtration followed by anion exchange chromatography. The molecular mass of Cv-LAAO is 120 kDa in its native form and 60 kDa in its monomeric form. The optimum enzyme activity was achieved on l-Leucine as a substrate in 50 mM buffer pH 7.

The Development of FVIII Inhibitors in Relation to IL10 Gene Polymorphism in Hemophilia A Egyptian Pediatric Patients.

Background: Development of inhibitors against Factor VIII (FVIII) in hemophilia A patients is a serious complication of therapy. Many cytokines, including interleukin-10 (IL10), may affect inhibitor development; however, literature data are not sufficient to prove this association. The aim of this study was to investigate the relation between FVIII inhibitor formation and IL10-1082A/G polymorphism among Egyptian hemophiliacs.
