[Mechanisms of the therapeutic effect of hyperbaric oxygenation in minor differential pressure in stroke].

Analysis is made of a complex of clinicoelectrophysiologic, biochemical and biophysical studies conducted in 220 patients with brain stroke, receiving a course of hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) at minor differential pressure (1.2-1.3 absolute atmospheres).

[Encephaloradiothermometry in the diagnosis of early stages of cerebrovascular insufficiency].

Recording the intrinsic, thermal radiation of tissues and their associated blood supply makes it possible to diagnose cerebrovascular insufficiency at the early stage. Radiothermometry is safe and easy in operation and provides results in absolute values in some seconds, which makes it convenient during a screening.

[Diagnosis and treatment and preventive measures in the presence of initial manifestations of insufficient cerebral blood supply].

Electrophysiological, ultrasound, biochemical, and psychological studies in 222 patients with initial manifestations of brain blood supply insufficiency (IMBBSI) are presented. A scheme for diagnostic, treatment and dispensary system is offered, principles of IMBBSI therapy are given into account. IMBBSI differentiated treatment leads to steady disappearance of its clinical manifestations in 28.

[Increased predisposition to syncope in vasovagal syncope].

For revealing body peculiarities causing a heightened predisposition to vasovagal syncopes the somatic and neurological status, the general and cerebral hemodynamics, the person's psychological peculiarities, the brain bioelectric activity, changes in catecholamine metabolism, and in adrenocortical function were examined in 131 patients. As a result, factors determining the heightened predisposition to vasovagal syncopes were revealed, and a scheme was drawn which illustrated the development of a vasovagal syncope and the participation of the above factors in the pathogenetic mechanisms of the syncope at its different stages.
