Semiconducting polymer chains constitute the building blocks for a wide range of electronic materials and devices. However, most of their electrical characteristics at the single-molecule level have received little attention. Elucidating these properties can help understanding performance limits and enable new applications.

Instead of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), SU-8 aided adhesive bonding of silicon and glass wafers is used to implement parallel flow control. The fabrication process permits wafer-scale production with high throughput and reproducibility.

This study evaluates an educational program for nursing staff for managing challenging behavior: The Educating Nursing Staff Effectively (TENSE) program. This program can be tailored to care organizations' wishes and needs and combines various learning styles.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of Digital Learning Materials (DLMs) on nursing students' mathematics learning, self-efficacy, and task value. A pre-test/post-test control group design was used.

Data set represent soil acid phosphatase activity, association of individual molecular species of four major lipid classes with soybean forage quality indices when cultivated in boreal podzolic soils under cool climatic conditions.

It is unclear, how forage soybeans adopt to produce forage with high nutritional quality when cultivated on podzols in boreal climate. To answer this question, we cultivated forage soybeans on agricultural podzols at 3 farm sites with varied soil pH (6.

Objectives: To examine the relationship between care recipient unmet needs and (1) concerns about being a burden; (2) perceptions of caregiver burden; and (3) and caregiver self-reports of burden in community-dwelling care recipient-caregiver dyads.
Research Design And Methods: Telephone surveys with 196 linked caregivercare recipient dyads from the 2017 .
The diffusive mass transport of individual redox molecules was probed experimentally in microfabricated nanogap electrodes. The residence times for molecules inside a well-defined detection volume were extracted and the resulting distribution was compared with quantitative analytical predictions from random-walk theory for the time of first passage. The results suggest that a small number of strongly adsorbing sites strongly influence mass transport at trace analyte levels.

Because of its association with cardiotoxicity, LVEF is monitored by MUGA, though this is a relatively late measure of cardiac function. Diastolic dysfunction (DD) is believed to be an early predictor of cardiac impairment.

Here we explore experimentally and theoretically an alternative approach based on redox cycling which eliminates the reference electrode altogether. We show that shifts in the solution potential caused by the lack of reference can be understood quantitatively, and determine the requirements for accurate measurements in miniaturized systems in the absence of a reference electrode.

Here we demonstrate single-molecule detection of prototypical analytes in aqueous solution based on redox cycling in 40 nm nanogap transducers. These nanofluidic devices are fabricated using standard microfabrication techniques combined with a self-aligned approach that minimizes gap size and dead volume.

The pump focusing conditions allow non-collinear phasematching, which resulted in a 230 nm (190 cm(-1)) spectral bandwidth. Calculations indicate that such phasematching schemes may be used to further broaden OPO spectral bandwidths.
