The quantitative parameters of neurogenic influences on the heart rate is offered: the dispersion of histograms of differences between successive RR intervals of ECG, the number of zero differences and the value of sum of differences between successive RR intervals.

The technique of the analysis of the R-R subsequent series intervals differences in the prolonged heart rhythm records is offered. The differences reflect the certain regularities of the heart rhythm change (heart rate deceleration and heart rate acceleration). The offered parameters of the differences characterize the condition of the heart and the whole organism.

On the basis of dynamic series of RR intervals of electrocardiograms of healthy male test subjects exposed for a different period of time to high altitude hypoxia, autoregression clouds were built. The patterns of distribution thus obtained were compared with physical work capacity of the test subjects. It is suggested that when selecting people to work actively at high altitudes autoregression clouds can be used as quantitative estimates of their health state and as predictions of potential adaptation failures.

Statistical analysis of prolonged continuous recordings of the ECG RR intervals was carried out in 64 patients with purulent surgical infection. The following indices were considered: the mean value of the RR intervals, the mean quadratic deviation (delta), the variation amplitude, the 1st and the 3rd correlation coefficients, the excess, asymmetry, the RR/delta ratio. Besides, the size and the shape of the autoregression could was analyzed.
