Nodules Identified on Surveillance Ultrasound for HCC: CEUS or MRI as the Initial Test?

Objectives: Following positive surveillance ultrasound (US), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is recommended for further characterization. We propose contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) shows equivalent efficacy.
