Sense of Community in the context of disease prevention and health promotion: A scoping review of the literature.

Background: The centrality of community engagement in disease prevention and health promotion interventions highlights the need to understand the contextual factors that shape participation. Sense of Community (SoC), characterized by feelings of belonging, connection, and interdependence among members of a community, has emerged as a key component of community capacity and is therefore expected to influence engagement outcomes. However, empirical evidence is needed to assess its actual impact on community engagement.

Patient Experience of Integrated Care: Findings from a Cross-Sectional Study Involving People with Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases.

Introduction: Although the patient experience of integrated care has been documented for several chronic conditions, little is known in the context of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (RMDs). This study provides a first overview of the patient experience of integrated care according to the perspective of people living with RMDs in Italy.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey was administered to 433 participants who reported their experiences together with the importance assigned to different attributes of integrated care.

Studying the Experience of Care Through Latent Class Analysis: An Application to Italian Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

Though many data on the experience of care of patients and caregivers are collected, they are rarely used to improve the quality of health care delivery. One of the main causes is the widespread struggle in interpreting and enhancing these data, requiring the introduction of new techniques to extract intelligible, meaningful, and actionable information. This research explores the potentiality of the latent class analysis (LCA) statistical model in studying experience data.
