Methods: We recruited 85 pregnant patients with multiple sclerosis who contracted COVID-19 after conception and were prospectively followed-up in Italian and Turkish Centers, in the period 2020-2022.
Background And Purpose: Clinical outcomes of multiple sclerosis (MS) patients affected by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been thoroughly investigated, but a further analysis on main signs and symptoms and their risk factors still needs attention. The objective of this study was to group together and describe based on similarity the most common signs and symptoms of COVID-19 in MS patients and identify all factors associated with their manifestation.
Method: Logistic and linear regression models were run to recognize factors associated with each pooled group of symptoms and their total number.

Ocrelizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets CD20+ B-cells, profoundly suppresses acute inflammatory disease activity, representing a highly effective therapy for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). In this paper, we analyse the COVID-19 outbreak data with simple modifications of the SIR compartmental model, in order to understand the time evolution of the cases in Italy and Germany, during the first half of 2020. Even if the complexity of the pandemic cannot be easily described, we show that our models are suitable for understanding the data during the application of the social distancing and the lockdown. We compare and contrast different modifications of the SIR model showing the strengths and the weaknesses of each approach.

Forty-two RRMS patients, who switched from an extended interval dose (EID) of natalizumab to ocrelizumab, underwent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinical monitoring during washout and after ocrelizumab starting. During the first 3 months, disease reactivation was observed in five (12%) patients; 6 months after ocrelizumab starting, no further relapses were recorded, and Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) remained stable in 38 (90%) patients.

High levels of CCL5 and CCL10 chemokines and of antibody-secreting B cells were detected, while the levels other B- and T-cell subsets were comparable to that of appropriate controls.
