IMMUNE CHECKPOINT INHIBITORS IN ADVANCED NON-SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER: T-cell-directed strategies represent currently a major advance in the treatment of advanced non-small-cell lung cancer, regarding their efficacy and tolerance. Nivolumab and pembrolizumab, two monoclonal antibodies targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) have shown their efficacy in phase III studies. Several other drugs are developed and the benefit of association is being evaluated.
