Paromomycin (Paro) and neomycin (Neo) induced proliferation of neonatal rat ventricular myocytes in vitro and displayed dose-dependent inhibition of Meis1 and Hoxb13 transcriptional activity by luciferase assay and disruption of DNA binding by electromobility shift assay.
