Strangulated Indirect Inguinal Hernia-Containing Bladder: A Case Report.

Inguinal hernias involving the bladder are exceedingly rare and pose a diagnostic challenge. Identifying bladder involvement within an inguinal hernia is imperative to avoid iatrogenic bladder injuries and subsequent complications. Here we discuss a case of inguinal bladder herniation and bladder visualization using methylene blue dye intraoperatively.

Operative Treatment of Ulnar Collateral Ligament Injury in Female Athletes.

Background: Ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction has been the standard surgical intervention for elite male athletes with UCL insufficiency. Recently, UCL repair and augmentation with an internal brace has been increasingly performed.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical and functional outcomes as well as return-to-sport rate after UCL repair in female athletes.

The interosseus crural nerve: An anatomical study of a rarely described structure.

The interosseous crural nerve (IOCn) is said to arise distally from muscular branches of the tibial nerve innervating the deep muscles of the posterior compartment of the leg. Here, we present the results of a cadaveric study of the IOCn to clarify this nerve's morphology and to discuss its potential clinical relevance. On 26 sides from 13 cadaveric specimens, the IOCn was dissected.
