Long-term Outcomes of Staged Complete Repair of Pulmonary Atresia With Ventricular Septal Defect.

Background: The optimal strategy for pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect (PA-VSD) without major aortopulmonary collateral arteries is yet to be defined. It remains unclear how primary complete repair compares with staged repair.

Methods: This study reviewed the records of 107 patients with PA-VSD who were managed with systemic-to-pulmonary shunts from February 1989 to November 2019.

Objective: We aimed to assess outcomes after aortic valve repair leading to bicuspid valve anatomy in children.

Methods: This is a retrospective study of patients who underwent aortic valve repair with creation/preservation of bicuspid aortic valve anatomy or tricuspidization of bicuspid valves between 1980 and 2016.

Results: Overall, 127 patients underwent bicuspid repair.
